From our work delivering Enterprise Activities in schools over the years, we have recognised that the most successful students are often those students that do not perform as well in more traditional lessons.

Inspired will offer a platform for those students to demonstrate their creativity and entrepreneurialism whilst working alongside local and national businesses to learn the skills required to set up a business, promote services and take a product to market.

Our Programmes

Our programme has been designed for students who may wish to establish their own businesses upon leaving employment, education or training or those who may become sols traders based around a skill such as plumbing, joinery or gardening.

Whilst working with us, students will complete a range of real-life business challenges set by leading UK employers including Ryman, Merlin Entertainment, Screwfix and Grenade.  Our challenges cover all aspects of launching a business, from producing a business card, networking, product development, costing, market research, branding and promotion.  Students will also develop key transferable skills such as communication, teamwork, problem solving and digital skills.

Working closely with OCR, we have mapped our programme of activities against the OCR Cambridge National in Enterprise and Marketing, meaning that students can work towards an additional qualification whilst completing the challenges set with the provision.

Safeguarding & Accessibility

Our offices have secure touch code entry systems and all our office staff are DBS checked owing to our company’s principle work in schools.  A full risk assessment of the site has been completed and is available for schools to view.

Students will be under constant supervision whilst on site and will not be completing any dangerous or hazardous activities.  An individual risk assessment will be carried out for each student attending the provision in conjunction with the student’s school and any potential risks or needs will be addressed.

Our site is fully accessible with a lift, disabled toilets and disabled parking.
