The Inspirational Learning Group are delighted to be listed as a gateway for the Kickstart scheme and can now apply for the scheme on behalf of your company.

What is the Kickstart Scheme?

The Kickstart Scheme provides funding for employers to create new 6-month job placements for young people who are currently on Universal Credit and at risk of long-term unemployment.  The scheme is part of the government’s “Plan for Jobs” and aims to create thousands of new, fully funded jobs across England, Scotland & Wales.

Funding will cover for each job placement:

  • 100% of the relevant National Minimum Wage for 25 hours a week
  • The associated employer National Insurance contributions
  • Employer minimum automatic enrollment contributions

How can The Inspirational Learning Group help?

If you are creating less than 30 job placements, TILG can act on your behalf as a Kickstart gateway and apply for a Kickstart Scheme grant for you.  We will:

  • Gather information from you about the job placements that you would like to offer
  • Use this information to submit an online application on your behalf
  • Pass on the relevant payments made by DWP to you (e.g. the young person’s salary)
