2019/2020 Challenges

Key Stage 3

As an award-winning brand for their work on Eco-sustainability and environmentally friendly services, Air Products  have set this year’s Key Stage 3 Challenge asking students to create an innovative use for their gas cylinders once they reach their end of life.

Students will create a target customer, design and cost a new product and consider how they will market their new product to customers before pitching their idea to a panel of judges.

Maximum Team size – 6 students

Can be delivered to groups of up to 250 students.

 

Key Stage 4

Workin in conjunction with Grenade , the UK’s best-selling protein bar range, students will be asked to create a new flavour Carb Killa bar.  Students will design the recipe and packaging for their bar and will create a marketing campaign including a creative use of social media and the identification of a new brand ambassador.

The winning team from each school will take part in the Grand Finals where they will compete for the opportunity to pitch their idea to Grenade.  The winning idea could even be launched and sold in the UK in 2020!
