The Inspirational Learning Group is delighted to announce continued partnership with NatWest Thrive.

Following a successful 5 year partnership, we are delighted to announce that NatWest Thrive will continue as the partner for The National Careers Challenge for the coming academic year, in addition to continuing to sponsor the Year 9 challenge.

Our award-winning flagship school delivery programme, The National Careers Challenge allows young people to develop the skills needed to make informed decisions about their future and since 2013, we have seen 600,000 students participate in the award-winning programme. The National Careers Challenge in partnership with NatWest Thrive, is the UK’s largest careers and enterprise competition and provides students in Years 7 to 10 with real-life business challenges.

NatWest are committed to helping young entrepreneurs build businesses in their local communities, and developing the skills they will need for business start-up careers in the future. It is this ethos which has inspired this year’s Year 9 challenge, “Start Local, Think Global”. In teams young people will work to develop a business idea that is inspired by the skills and heritage of their own local town or city. They will consider how they will promote their new business to the local community, plus how the business could be scaled up in the future both from a promotional and financial point of view.

Rebecca Clarke, Head of Curriculum, Education & Quality at The Inspirational Learning Group said, “We are absolutely delighted to be working with NatWest for the fifth consecutive year, helping students across the UK to develop both the core skills that they will need for the future world of work and the business acumen to become the entrepreneurs and CEOs of the future!”.
