TILG were delighted to partner up with HigherHorizons+ to deliver a bespoke programme of events during National Apprenticeship Week, 8th to 14th February 2021.
Throughout the week, pupils and parents across the Staffordshire, Cheshire and the Chester/Warrington area were able to engage with a range of activities to promote the benefits of apprenticeships.
Over 4000 pupils and parents registered and engaged with the content across the week. They were able to hear from over 30 different speakers from 18 different businesses and organisations, including individuals from companies such as Balfour Beatty, Siemans, PWC and of course the wonderful team at Staffordshire University and the HigherHorizons+ team.
TILG Delivery Manager, Liam Brookes said:
“Many thanks to the incredible speakers, businesses and organisations that have helped to make this week a reality. The content that we have produced has given our young people a fantastic insight as to what an apprenticeship is, and how completing one could benefit their future career ambitions. Here at The Inspirational Learning Group we do not believe that we should tell young people if a post 16 option is, or isn’t, right for them. Instead, it is about giving them every possible opportunity to make informed decisions about their future. This is exactly what we have been able to achieve regarding apprenticeships throughout this innovative programme of events!”
