For the first time ever, The National Enterprise Challenge Finals was streamed to schools and homes all across the UK
As a company we have been amazed by the creativity, entrepreneurialism and business acumen demonstrated by the students that we have worked with and it was important to us to ensure that their hard work did not go to waste.
This year’s finals was vastly different to the planned celebration of enterprise; however we endeavoured to bring you the very best event possible, with celebrity host Ben Hanlin, TNEC ambassador Nick Jenkins and CEO and Co-founder of Grenade, Alan Barratt.
Pupils from schools all across the country tuned into the live stream of the finals on 15th July 2020.
Co-founder of The National Enterprise Challenge, Michael Dyer said “We were overwhelmed by the standard of the entries that we saw and to see so many people meeting up to watch the event in a socially distanced manner was a credit to the schools, teachers and students. Some of the reactions that we saw on social media were the exact reason that we set up the challenge! To see people so happy to be in the final and to win awards is a really humbling experience, we even saw examples of schools that didn’t win congratulating the winners and that is great to see. Whilst it wasn’t the event that we had originally planned, the feedback was great and we are really glad that everyone enjoyed the event”.
