At The Inspirational Learning Group we regularly partner with organisations to deliver innovative challenges and experiences for students. Partners include UCFB, Kick It Out, UniConnect, Waterworld and other organisations.
TAKE A STAND CHALLENGE
In association with UCFB and Kick It Out, students will gain a greater understanding of the issues affecting black players, coaches and managers in the game.
They will reflect on a number of personal stories describing racism, prejudice and discrimination within the game before creating their own Manifesto for Change – highlighting the key changes they would like to see within the sport.
Students would then go on to develop their own campaign or educational programme that would aim to address one of the key issues affecting Black players and coaches.
The Oli Leigh Trust Mental Health Awareness Challenge
Mental Health is one of the most important topics in schools right now. In this FREE programme, students consider what it means to be emotionally healthy, exploring practical strategies to support their peers who may be struggling with their mental health.
Students will go on to develop an idea for a new resource or service that would operate within their school or local community to support young people who are feeling anxious or suffering with their mental health.
Destinations Challenge
Perfect for any students who are approaching key transition points, our Destinations Challenge will provide your students with the opportunity to think about their future plans and consider their aspirations post 16.
The world of work is changing fast and through the completion of the Destinations Challenge, we guarantee that your students will be provided with the most up to date careers guidance and support, in addition to making them aware of the new and different skills that employers are looking for. This challenge can also be booked in conjunction with a 1 hour motivational speaker session.
